Comments
When someone leaves a comment, we collect the info typed in — like your name, email, and the message itself. We also take note of your IP address and browser details to help keep spam away.

If you’re using Gravatar for your profile picture, a version of your email (turned into code) may be sent to them to check if you’ve got a profile. Once your comment is approved, your picture appears beside your comment. Their privacy policy is here: https://automattic.com/privacy/

Images
If you decide to upload photos to our site, it’s best to remove location info from the image before uploading. Some photos can store GPS data, and anyone can download and view it.

Cookies
Cookies are small files your browser saves to remember things — like your login or your name when you leave a comment.

If you comment on a post, we can save your name and email so you don’t need to enter them again later.
